Martha's is a moderate mixed climb on Mt Lady Washington in Rocky Mountain National Park. It follows a narrow cleft up the north side of the mountain. Last Sunday I made it out to the "Park" with Will Rawlstron, a kayaking buddy who's been convinced that he should take up climbing because of fickle snow melt during the past couple years.
Will on the Approach
The first time I climbed Martha's was soon after moving to Denver for nursing school in 2008. A strong storm pummeled us the entire day and in places we waded through thigh deep drifts of snow on the walk out.

This year was a little different. The nice weather was good for climbing as well as photography. Here are the shots.
